The characteristics of learning styles possessed by each student greatly affect in receiving and processing information received in learning. Educators can find out the learning styles possessed by each student by using appropriate measuring instruments or instruments or fulfilling validity and reliability tests. Based on these statements, this study aims to provide an overview of the validity and reliability testing process of a visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning style questionnaire instrument. The process begins with a content validation and construct validation test which involves four expert experts consisting of one Indonesian language and literature education lecturer, two mathematics education lecturers and one counseling education lecturer using Aiken's V formula which produces grades in the very high category category and high. After that was done with a validity test in the field and a reliability test, it was known that the r value of the Product Moment table (r_t) for N = 63 with a significance level of 5% was 0.209. As for the reliability test provisions with Alpha 0.907, it produces a statement that Alpha> r_tabel. The results of the study showed that out of the 43 statements, there were 33 items in accordance with the provisions of the validity and reliability tests.
